I live at the base of the North Island’s west coast, an hour’s drive north of Wellington, surrounded by some of the most beautiful beaches and coastline in New Zealand. Our home is just a short drive from Waikawa Beach where we enjoy a great climate and very lucious green suroundings.

I run workshops and tuition from my home, on various aspects of woodturning and design. Accommodation and meals are provided, (my wife Leigh is a great cook), guests stay in a double room with a separate bathroom. As well as woodturning, we also make sure that visitors are able to enjoy fishing, sea or river kayaking, visits to local wineries or any other touristy activities which they may enjoy. Best of all, prices are very reasonable.. I am also available to demonstrate to clubs, if overseas clubs are interested it usually pays to get together a few clubs in a state or country so that travel expenses can be shared. It is important to book two to three months in advance. The best weather in New Zealand extends from November until April.
